My jump into stand-up comedy
I started doing stand-up comedy in September of 2017 and immediately fell in love with it. It took me a while to get it to click. A lot of experimentation and failures before I got my first big laugh. It was all worth it. After that, I pieced together a set, performed it at Good Heavens British Bar in Shimokitazawa, Tokyo and that was my first non open-mic set. The audience responded well and I felt a rush in which I've never felt since taking the stage with my band Moochie Mac & Superfriends in Singapore. At that moment, I knew I needed this. I love the whole process of it. From the first draft of a joke to finally getting it to work. From a light chuckle at an open-mic event to a sea of laughter on stage. From being nervous about new material to having the audience at the palm of my hand. Stand-up comedy has filled that hole that Moochie Mac & Superfriends had previously filled and I'd like to share this journey with all you Ratketeers. I hope that you will enjoy this video.
Stand-Up Comedy in Tokyo
If you ever make your way to Tokyo and are looking to get some "haha" into your system, do check out one of the events organized by Stand-Up Tokyo. They organize shows around Tokyo on the regular. I highly recommend a show they hold every Wednesday at Good Heavens British Bar. 8 comics, great atmosphere, good beer and amazing FISH & CHIPS! The best I've had in Tokyo so far. Honorably fantastically delicious! Also, follow me on Instagram and if you are coming to Tokyo, do send me a message. I love connecting with Ratketeers from around the world. Honorable Rat out!

Tokyo DisneySea is the only theme park in the world in which I can enjoy without going on any attractions.
You will be visually stimulated by the cuteness of some of these snacks.
There's nothing I like better in Ameyoko Market than to eat and I'm sure you will enjoy eating here too.
You won't have any problems with finding 7-11, Lawson or Family Mart when traveling around Japan, but Mini Stop is a rarity.
Every other convenience store specializes in one type of food, but 7-Eleven has so many different types of delicious food.
