Toy Story Hotel in Shanghai Disneyland
Shanghai Disneyland currently owns and operates two hotels and the Rat family recently got the chance to stay at its Toy Story Hotel. A night in Toy Story Hotel is about half the price as compared to a night in Shanghai Disneyland Hotel. As a birthday present to the kids and Grandma Rat, Grandpa Rat decided to pay for the hotel rooms for this trip!

Here's an Honorable tip!
Bring along an extra luggage and kidnap them slippers, postcards, stationery and more. Every night, throughout our trip, when we went back to the hotel room, we would pack the room slippers, bath amenities and stationery. They would all magically reappear the very next day. Also, tap water in Shanghai is non-potable, but you won't have to worry about drinking water as you will get 6 bottles of complimentary water everyday!
Overall impression of the room
Toy Story Hotel's Garden View room was spacious. Wife-chan, the kids and I shared a room and all of us felt extremely comfortable. Also, I found it pretty cool that we could pick and watch between a selection of many complimentary Disney movies on the TV in the room. We could also play music from the park through the television. That was super awesome! Take-out from Cheesecake Factory accompanied by Shanghai Disney park music anyone? However, it will take about 30 minutes to walk to the park. I went for a jog to Shanghai Disneyland one morning and it took me about 15 minutes to get there, so using my amazing skill of calculus, I would presume that walking to the park would take about 30 minutes. Don't you worry though because there's a shuttle bus that will take you to the park from Toy Story Hotel every 10 minutes. If you are looking for a hotel that's good fun for young and old, Toy Story Hotel fits the bill.
