Kitano Ace Foods Boutique

The best place to buy souvenir food from all across Japan

If you have been following Honorable Rat for a while now, you probably know that I am a big fan of Ueno. I love shopping and eating in Ameyoko Market. This is, in my opinion, the heart and soul of Tokyo. Ameyoko Market is lively. She has an energy about her that is tough to find in other parts of Tokyo. Although, some may say that she is a little dirty... I don't mind. A rat will always be a rat. I like that there's no fakeness to Ameyoko Market. I like that she is real... like Miss Korea before plastic surgery.

One day, on one of my visits to Ameyoko Market, I ended up walking to a nearby shopping mall named Marui. I went in to escape the summer heat. While I was in there, 5 minutes away from a heat stroke, I decided to check the basement out. In shopping malls in Japan, that's where all the food is. During that excursion, I came across Kitano Ace.
