Hibernation Mode has come to an end. The Rat is back in Tokyo DisneySea!
Spring is here and this Rat is out and about again! Hibernation mode is over! It's time to fill that tummy again with some food, so I crawled through the sewers with a big smile on my face, trampling on cherry blossoms petals towards Tokyo DisneySea to sample some of its Easter goodies. My amazing sense of smell led me towards Arabian Coast. I couldn't help it. I'm part Indian, so curry it is!
Why is Easter celebration in Tokyo DisneySea so long?
Can some of you help me out here? How long is Easter celebration in other parks? As far as I know, Easter Sunday is April 16th for this year (2017). Do the other parks still have Easter decorations after Easter Sunday? I'm asking because I find it kinda weird that Tokyo Disney's Easter celebration lasts till June. Help me out Ratketeer! Am I the only one who feels that this is weird?!
Mistimed celebration of Easter or not, this confused Rat needed to eat
I remember reviewing Chandu's Tail a while back and I didn't have a good impression of it. As the Queen of England would say. "It was not my cup of tea." By the way, why is tea associated with England? That's another thing that I'm confused by. English tea is from India. Why is it called English tea? Hmmmmm. Curioser and curioser. Anyways, my sister told me that this Spring Tail was really good, so I had to give it a go.
Confused no more!
I've come to realize that the antidote for confusion, anger, any negative feeling, is good food. Spring Tail did the trick for me. Like Chandu's Tail, the bread was Chinese "Bao" like. A little sweet, really soft and nice to bite into. The filling was flavorful and full of spice. It was a dry, minced chicken curry and I could taste cumin, turmeric and all that good stuff that goes into Indian curry. I was a little disappointed that I couldn't taste any of the cheese though. There was zero cheese flavor in this snack. I would imagine that this snack would have been brilliant if Tokyo Disney could have found a way to wiggle a more cheesy flavor into it. Nevertheless, my sister was right. This is one good snack. I guess this talent of foraging for food runs in the family. I should get her to start writing for Honorable Rat soon. Two Rats are better than one!
Honorable Rating: Mmm, This is Good (4/5)
