Pixar Adventure in Laforet, Harajuku
My family is in love with Pixar. We love every animated film that comes out of that studio. A Pixar film is always great fun for the whole family. When we heard that there was gonna be an exhibition showcasing works of Pixar, we diverted from our usual hangout (Tokyo Disney Resort) and took a train to Harajuku station. Pixar Adventure is currently being held in Laforet Museum in Harajuku. It will be running till September 25th 2016. Tickets go for 1,200 yen per adult (junior high school and above) and 600 yen for kids (4 years of age to elementary school). If you are not within the age range mentioned, congratulations, you get to go in for free.
Expectations grew as we were in line
When we got to Laforet, we had to deal with a long line to enter the museum. As we were in line, I got really excited. Excited about the prospect of learning more about my favorite Pixar films. I wanted to know more on their filmmaking process. I wanted to find out more about what happens behind the scenes in Pixar Studios. After being in line for about 30 minutes, it was time to enter.

Pixar Adventure was not what I had expected
I was expecting to learn a thing or two from Pixar Adventure, but it turned out that Pixar Adventure was nothing more than a bunch of sets put together for people to take pictures in. We waited in line to enter, just to get in line again and again to take pictures. There was nothing in Pixar Adventure that roused my curiosity and that was rather disappointing. Should have stuck to our game plan. Should have gone to Tokyo Disney Resort. Well, at least, we walked away with some good family photos. Next time I visit a museum in Japan, I'd make sure to research more before visiting.
