Which is the best hotel in Tokyo Disney Resort?
Hotel Miracosta is, in my opinion, the best hotel in Tokyo Disney. Once you stay the night at Hotel Miracosta, you'll never wanna stay in another Tokyo Disney hotel again. Just look out the window and you'll get to see the most beautiful theme park in the world! Hotel Miracosta is my first choice when it comes to staying the night in Tokyo Disney Resort.
What about Tokyo Disneyland Hotel?
Tokyo Disneyland Hotel is also beautiful. Its lobby is just breathtaking. The high ceiling and beautiful chandeliers. Also, it is home to Dreamer's Lounge. Dreamer's Lounge is one of my favorite restaurants in Tokyo Disney Resort. Get some tea, enjoy some conversation with your loved ones and soak up the amazing atmosphere that it provides.
Where's the love for Disney Ambassador Hotel?
Out of the 3 on-site Disney Hotel, Disney Ambassador Hotel does not have that magical pull on me like the other 2 mentioned before. I have no idea why. It might be its location or its design. I can't quite put my finger on it. This time, the Rat family stayed a night in Disney Ambassador Hotel's Minnie Mouse Room to show some love and hopefully get some back, in return.
Staying in the Minnie Mouse Room allows for access to the Ambassador Lounge
Minnie Mouse Room is located on the Ambassador Floor of Disney Ambassador Hotel. All guests on the Ambassador Floor are allowed access to the Ambassador Lounge. Hotel Miracosta and Tokyo Disneyland Hotel both have their versions of the Ambassador Lounge, but to gain access to them would mean more moolah thrown at the mouse. The Mickey and Minnie Mouse rooms are the most affordable way to gain access to the lounge, in all 3 on-site Disney Hotels. The Ambassador Lounge provides complimentary snacks and drinks, including alcoholic beverages, from 7am to 11pm.
Now that you're done with the free-flow of wine and beer, it's time to put that drunk ass to bed!
And wake up to this beautiful view!
Did the Minnie Mouse Room have enough spark to light up Disney Ambassador Hotel?
In short, no, but the perks that come with staying at the Minnie Mouse Room did add some sparks. A night at the Minnie Mouse Room would set you back by at least 58,700 yen. It comes with access to the Ambassador Lounge and you also get free breakfast at Hyperion Lounge. Both of these are nice touches that add some value to staying in the Minnie Mouse Room, but they didn't do enough for me to warrant that price tag. Breakfast at Hyperion Lounge was quite disappointing. You can read about it here. However, as a guest on the Ambassador Floor, you'll get the chance to reserve a special course dinner at Empire Grill. This dinner is pricey, but excellent and worth every yen. Read about it here. Also, as a guest of Ambassador Hotel (any room, not just Ambassador Floor), you are able to reserve a table for breakfast at Chef Mickey which is, in my opinion, the best character dining experience in Tokyo Disney. At the end of the day, I would recommend this hotel for anyone who is interested in dining at Chef Mickey. Don't have to go with the Ambassador Floor for that experience, but if you would like to enjoy the special course dinner, you'll have to go with rooms on the Ambassador Floor. If you are not interested in both, spend your money elsewhere!
