Recently, I've been on a fried chicken rampage. For the past 5 food reviews, I've only had fried chicken. I can't stop. All of them have tickled my taste buds the right way, so I'm kinda hooked on fried chicken now. For this review, I traveled back to Tokyo Disneyland after a bit frolicking around with convenience store food. Back to home turf, same old fried chicken.
Tomorrowland Terrace serves up burgers and Mickey Chicken Nuggets. A box of Mickey Chicken Nuggets costs 330 yen. Recently, I did an Honorable Snack Run in Tokyo Disneyland and decided to get snacks that I've never tried before. One of the snacks that got the golden opportunity of traveling to the depths of my digestive system was the Mickey Chicken Nuggets. You can watch a video of that snack run at the end of this review.
Ratketeer, I hate to say this, but the Mickey Chicken Nuggets have ended the amazing streak that I had with fried chicken. The only good thing about the Mickey Chicken Nuggets was it's shape. Shaping them like Mickey was cute, but apart from that, I can't think of any other positives to say about this snack. It was really dry and quite difficult to swallow. Think microwaveable frozen chicken nuggets that have been microwaved for a bit too long. If you were to get this snack, I would recommend adding some kinda sauce to it. That would make it more enjoyable for your taste buds, oesophagus, stomach, intestines and finally, your anus.
If you're craving for fried chicken in Tokyo Disney, I would suggest getting the Fried Chicken Mickey Handwich. If you are out and about in Tokyo, head to a Lawson Convenience Store and get yourself a pack of Karaage-kun. They do not have Mickey ears, but trust me, they'll make you a happier rat. For now, my love affair with fried chicken has ended. To all other food items, Honorable Rat is coming for you.
