Captain Hook's Galley is where I usually go to when I'm craving for pizza in Tokyo Disneyland. I usually grab a slice of pizza and chow it down while I'm walking around the park. It's home to one of my favorite snacks in The Happiest Place on Earth. I always tell myself to get something different when I'm in line, but always end up with the Bacon & Pineapple Pizza. This time, I stopped myself from going with that tropical slice of heaven and got myself a slice of the Seafood Pizza.
The Seafood Pizza Set goes for 670 yen. This comes with a small sized beverage. If you opt for a slice without the drink, it will cost you 460 yen. As you can see from the picture above, the Seafood Pizza is a little bit more expensive than the Bacon & Pineapple Pizza. 50 yen might not be a lot of money to you, but to me, 50 yen is the price of a candy that Little Mahina likes from the convenience store. She always smiles when I get her that candy. I'm sacrificing a chance to make my daughter smile by getting this Seafood Pizza. It better be good!
The Seafood Pizza contains octopus, scallop and shrimp. Our crustacean friends are all laid out on a thin crust with tomato sauce and golden brown cheese. Yum! As you can see from the picture above, it looks amazing. The first bite alone reconfirmed my evaluation of Captain Hook's Galley. This is definitely the best place in Tokyo Disneyland to get a slice of pizza. Just like the Bacon & Pineapple Pizza, the Seafood Pizza had a lot of cheese on it and it was cooked to perfection. It's texture was awesome. I loved how strands of cheese followed my mouth as I pulled it away from the pizza. On top of that, the seafood added to the texture by making it a little more springy. The cheese and seafood came together to provide this salty punch to my palate and the tomato came in with a little bit of sourness which created fireworks in my mouth. Overall, this was one hell of a pizza slice. You cannot go wrong with Captain Hook's Galley. Be sure to add this joint to your list of places to eat when visiting Tokyo Disneyland.
To my beautiful daughter: Daddy might be buying you less candy in the future. It won't be that often, so you don't have to worry about it too much. Daddy's favorite pizza from Captain Hook's Galley is still the Bacon & Pineapple Pizza because Daddy loves making you smile and Daddy is a sucker for pineapples. The pineapples add another dimension to the flavor. The Seafood Pizza does not have that, but with that being said, there will be times when Daddy will want to go with the Seafood Pizza. If that happens, no candy. Sorry. I love you dearly.
Honorable Rating: Mmm, This is Good (4/5)
