Tokyo Disney has a lot of snacks and they are being replaced frequently. Let's take Refreshment Station as an example. It used to sell the Gyoza Sausage Bun, but now, it's rocking the Churro (Potato). Before you know it, the snack that you had a year ago, is gone. Tokyo Disney keeps trying to improve and innovate and the food they serve up is no exception.
I really like the changes. I like the changes because most of what I eat in Tokyo Disney falls in the middle of Honorable Rat's taste buds' spectrum. I don't crave for a lot of them, but of course, once in a while, I find something that I really like. For instance, the Teriyaki Chicken Leg.
The Teriyaki Chicken Leg has been around for a long time. That has not been replaced and why would Tokyo Disney replace it? There's always a line! Cha-ching! Mickey is one hell of a landlord. If a snack ain't popular, it will not survive for long in his land. It's just business.
Here's one that I hope will stand the test of time. I am urging you to get this when you visit Tokyo DisneySea. I want it to stay because it is one of my favorite snacks in the world of Disney! It's a really simple snack, but dang, it blew my mind. Japanese rice rolled in soy sauce marinated bacon. It was love at first bite. The bacon has a crisp texture to it and when I sunk my teeth into it, the softness of the Japanese rice came into play. The bacon had a salty flavor to it and it was marinated perfectly. It engulfed my mouth with flavor. I was one really happy Rat. You can check my natural reaction out in the video below. At the end of the day, the Pork Rice Roll needs to stay. Mickey, if you replace this, you and this Rat will have a problem. One of the best snacks in the world of the Mouse.
