Ratketeer, I am bored. I am bored because I have nothing to do in my free time anymore. I need a new hobby. Now that the English Premier League season has ended, I have nothing to look forward to. Every year, during this time, till August, I get lost in limbo. No soccer, no NFL. What is a Rat to do?!
There's a silver lining to this cloud, though. During this period, I always get new ideas for Honorable Rat and I visit the parks more often. I start trying things that I never usually will. Heading to places that I've never visited before. The other day, I went on Alice's Tea Party twice, followed by It's A Small World, then Autopia.... alone. I figured, I've never been on these rides alone before, so what the heck. It kills time.
While I was on Autopia, an idea popped into my head. Since I have a YouTube Channel now, I thought that it would be a nice idea to make videos about non-Disney related topics too. Favorite food haunts in Tokyo, living in Japan, places I like to go to. An insight on living in Japan as a foreigner, the Honorable Rat way. After coming up with this idea, I walked towards Splash Mountain, got on it and thought about this idea in more detail while listening to Brer Rabbit and his crew sing "Everybody's got a laughing place."
After completing the ride and being super motivated to work more on my plan, I walked to the first seats that I can find upon exiting Splash Mountain. I took out my pen and paper and got to work at Rackety's Raccoon Saloon.
After five minutes of penning down my ideas, my stomach started to grumble and I walked up to the counter of Rackety's Raccoon Saloon to get myself a snack and a drink.
The Tortilla Dog with Cheese was good, but does it warrant a trek to Rackety's Raccoon Saloon? It's located in a really obscure location and it's easy to miss. Also, Rackety's Raccoon Saloon only provides outdoor seating. If you happen to dine here and it's hot, much like this day, it can get quite uncomfortable. Good snacks, but terrible location and no shelter. After finishing my snacks, I put my pen and paper aside, walked to Ikspiari for one of my favorite summer food item. I looked at the paper and read what I wrote down. 20 minutes, four words. "Too hot to think!"
