15 years ago, the best theme park in the world opened it's gates to welcome guests from around the world. Happy birthday Tokyo DisneySea! On April 15th of 2016, Tokyo Disney Resort launched it's celebration, "15 The Year of Wishes", and Honorable Rat was there to join the festivities. Off to DisneySea I went to eat, eat, eat!

Casbah Food Court 15th Anniversary Set Menu

Many restaurants in Tokyo DisneySea have decided to commemorate this event with special additions to their menu. New York Deli, Vulcania Restaurant and many more. On this fine day, I was craving for curry, so I marched my scrawny ass off to Casbah Food Court and got myself one of the 15th Anniversary Special Set.

Speaking of ass, look at the picture above. That is one cute dessert! That's a coconut mousse cake in the shape of Donald's bum! It comes with the 15th Anniversary Set which also includes a drink and a plate of Butter Curry with Chicken-Scotch Egg and Vegetables served with Rice and Naan. The whole set goes for 1,580 yen.

Butter Curry with Chicken-Scotch Egg and Vegetables Served with Rice and Naan

Butter Curry with Chicken-Scotch Egg and Vegetables Served with Rice and Naan

The Butter Curry with Chicken-Scotch Egg and Vegetables Served with Rice and Naan was divine. It was buttery and creamy with the right amount of spice. The vegetables (Asparagus, Tomatoes, Onions, Capsicum) added some crunch to the dish.  The Chicken-Scotch Egg, however, was a bit of a letdown. The chicken breading was rather dry and had no flavor whatsoever. Dry, bland and forgettable. Imagine eating a hard boiled egg, wrapped in dried bread. A major disappointment, but screw the egg! This curry still rocked. Hands down the best curry that I've had in Tokyo Disney and one of the smoothest curry that I've ever had in my life! (By the the way, I'm part Indian and have consumed a lot of curry in my life. That's saying a lot!)

Donald Duck's Mousse Cake (Coconut)

Donald Duck's Mousse Cake (Coconut)

I'm not a big fan of desserts in Tokyo Disney, but damn, the Donald Duck's Mousse Cake was brilliant. This extremely cute cake is basically a sponge cake with coconut cream mousse (Donald's bum) and two butter cookies (Donald's feet). It had a strong, but not overpowering flavor of coconut. The cake, in itself, was not super sweet, but if you have a severe case of sweet tooth and would like to sweeten this dessert, try adding some of the blue sauce drizzled on the plate to Donald's bum. A well balanced dessert that complimented the curry really well. Who would have thought that Donald's bum would be so delicious? A perfect way to end a magnificent meal.
