Mickey Churro (Cafe Au Lait)

I've written about 100 blog posts on food in Tokyo Disney, but I've never reviewed a churro. What?! How can I call myself a Disney food reviewer if I haven't written a blog post about churro?! That's just unacceptable. How is that even possible? Allow for me to explain myself Ratketeer. I love churros. It's one of my favorite snacks in Disney. Every time I visit Disney, I get a churro. In my mind, I thought that everyone, like me, loves Disney's churros, hence the lack of love for churros on my blog posts. That was what I thought until last week. I happened to have met a lady who said that she didn't like a particular flavor of churro which she tried in Tokyo Disneyland. A flavor that I've never tried before. When she told me that, I immediately got my gear ready and headed to Tokyo Disneyland.

The flavor of churro that this lady was talking about was Cafe Au Lait. Her reasoning behind this unholy statement is her dislike for coffee. That's two diabolical statements in one sentence. Churro and coffee are in my middle name. Honorable Churro Coffee Rat!

Churro (Cafe Au Lait)

You can find Churro (Cafe Au Lait) at Pecos Bill Cafe in Tokyo Disneyland. It's priced at 310 yen. Just like every other churro in Tokyo Disney, this one is crisp on the outside with sugar coated on it and it's soft on the inside. However, I could understand what she meant. I thought that the flavor of coffee could be a little milder. It was quite strong. Even for a coffee lover, like myself, I found it to be a tad bit too strong. At the end of the day, I liked it and I recommend for all caffeinated rats to give it a try. However, if coffee is not your thing, you might wanna steal a bite from your friend before buying it.

Honorable Rating: Mmm, This Is Good (4/5)
