I am super excited about bringing you this blog post. Why?! Because, China Voyager is one of my favorite places to dine in and it has something new on its menu! How could I pass up on an opportunity to get Black Pepper Pork in ramen? Ramen to me is like cheese to a rat. Every fiber in my body loves that noodly dish. I've had black pepper pork before and I loved it. I've had ramen before and most of time, I've walked away happy. Combine the two and voila, we've got a dish that in my mind, was made for me. On with the review!

Not only did this dish sound amazing to me, but it looked great too. Just look at the picture below. Look at that fat, juicy piece of pork! If that doesn't make you hungry, nothing else will!

This dish is the most expensive in China Voyager, but it is also the only bowl of ramen on offer that comes with a generous serving of vegetables, a big slab of meat and half an egg. A well balanced meal. The noodles were perfectly cooked like all other ramen dishes in China Voyager. It was not too hard and not too soft. The vegetables were crunchy and added a different dimension of texture to this dish. The egg, like any other well cooked ramen egg had this sweet, delightful flavor that will linger at the back of your tongue. The soup was salty and oh so flavorful. The combination of pork bone broth and miso came together really well. Last, but not least, we've got the pork. This was one magical slab of meat. It had a light, black pepper flavor and the fatty part of it was orgasmic. Your mouth will be filled with a flavor so rich that a smile will automatically appear on your face. This bowl of ramen will definitely give the ramen served up in Ippudo Ramen and Shinkenshoubu Ramen a run for their money! Team China Voyager gets 5 points for this wonderful addition!
