Ratketeers, I'm not feeling it today. I'm not feeling it because I'm still heartbroken after watching the Houston Texans get destroyed by the Kansas City Chiefs yesterday. 30 - 0. What?! We didn't even score a point at home. That was sad. I'm not gonna lie. After watching the game yesterday, I hid under the covers and cried myself to sleep. The joy from watching them qualify for the playoffs turned into anxiety within the first minute of watching the Wild Card game. A kick return touchdown by the Kansas City Chiefs to start the game off. It all went downhill from there. It's funny how immense joy turned into depression so quickly. Here's to hoping that the Spaghettini Bolognese from Eastside Cafe will be able to raise my spirits again.
Hello again Ratketeers! I'm back and I'm happy again! You wanna know why? I'm happy because of this plate of Spaghettini Bolognese. I really enjoyed this dish. The noodles were cooked to perfection. Not too hard and not too soft. The sauce was great. There was enough meat in it, but not too much. It didn't overpower me with meaty flavor. It had just the right amount. The amount of melted cheese in the dish was also well proportioned. A perfect balance of flavor. Definitely, one of the best Bolognese sauce that I've had in my life.
All ingredients complimented each other beautifully. They came together as one, just like the Kansas City Chiefs in yesterday's game. I'm not sad anymore Ratketeers. Kudos to the Chiefs. Well played. Come next season, I'll still be donning the jersey of my beloved Houston Texans and cheering for them. I ain't walking away. I made a decision to support the Houston Texans when I first started watching the NFL 3 years ago and I'm sticking to that decision. Here's to hoping that one day, this team that I love will give me the same amount of joy I felt when my mouth came into contact with this plate of Spaghettini Bolognese. An absolutely delightful dish.
