Who doesn't like breakfast food? The right answer is "No one." If you came up with that answer, you will enjoy this blog post. If you didn't, I hope that you enjoy food shaped like Disney characters. If you don't like Disney characters, I can assure you that you are not left out. You will also enjoy this review because you will get to take a bite off Mickey's head. Booyah! A win-win situation for every Ratketeer.
Maple Sauce Waffle can be found at Great American Waffle Company in Tokyo Disneyland. For 410 yen, you will get a chance to devour Mickey's doughy face covered in maple syrup. There's also a small side of whipped cream with chopped almonds. The waffle is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Just the way I like it, with the perfect amount of maple sauce dripped over it. Enough to put a smile on your face, but not too much to drown Mickey before he gets the chance to enter your digestive system. I don't even need the whipped cream provided to enjoy this meal. If you have a severe case of sweet tooth, you could spread that whipped cream around Mickey's doughy, soon to be diabetic face and voila, sweet tooth is smiling too.
Maple Sauce Waffle is a great way to start your day at Tokyo Disneyland. It is nice to look at and a delight to chow down. Eating Mickey's face one part at a time becomes a game that I love playing with my kids. Maple syrup and waffles have been a great team for a long long time. Add the cuteness of Disney's head honcho to this team and you've got yourself a surefire winner. Simple yet delicious and super cute. One of this is enough to fill me up and get me ready for a day of adventure at Tokyo Disneyland. Well worth the money. I will definitely see you again, Great American Waffle Company.
