And we are down to one. The last sandwich at New York Deli up for review. To recap, I've reviewed the Shrimp & Salmon Trout on Soft Bagel, the Turkey Pastrami Panini and the Mile High Deli Stack. So far, the Mile High Deli Stack reigns supreme in New York Deli. How will the Grilled Reuben do? Will it knock the Mile High Deli Stack off the podium and be crowned with the coveted price of being the best sandwich in New York Deli or will it join the ranks of mediocrity of the other two sandwiches on offer? Ratketeers, the day of reckoning is here. Today, we will crown a champion.
The Grilled Reuben in New York Deli costs 770 yen. It is 150 yen cheaper than the Mile High Deli Stack. On paper, the Mile High Deli Stack would be favorites for this match up. The Mile High Deli Stack got a more expensive squad and has more variety when it comes to ingredients. The Grilled Reuben contains corned beef, sauerkraut, cheese and Thousand Island dressing. Nothing too fanciful making it the underdog for this contest.
The moment has come. Finally, the game kicks off. Both sandwiches traded touchdowns in this highly competitive match up. Mile High Deli Stack played with swag while Reuben Sandwich kept to the fundamentals of the game and stuck to it's playbook. Suddenly halfway through the game, a key player for Mile High Deli Stack got injured. His name was Chicken and he was the only player that could play that position. Oh no! This spells disaster for Mile High Deli Stack. After that, Reuben Sandwich took advantage of the situation and controlled the game. Finally, Reuben Sandwich won by a field goal at the very last second of the game. A disciplined showing of team effort helped the underdogs pull through. Reuben Sandwich was reigned champions of New York Deli.
At the end of the day, Reuben Sandwich was more delicious than any of the other sandwiches on offer in New York Deli. It's definitely up there with the greats of Tokyo DisneySea. I highly recommend for you to add this sandwich to your list of food to try in Tokyo Disney. It has definitely become one of my favorites. It's so good that I sometimes crave for it when I am deep in the comfort of my sewers. Say hello to the champion, the Denver Bron... Oh wait, sorry about that. I got a little carried away.
