It's a whole new world. More applications are being developed. Applications take up battery life. Before you know it, after a few tweets and Facebook posts, your phone is dead. What happens then?
In this new world that we live in, we always want to be connected to the rest of the world and our phones allow us to do that. Never fear, fellow Ratketeers. If your phone runs out of juice, you will be able to fill em up with energy at some places in Tokyo Disney Resort.
As you can see from the pictures above, you can find two charging stations in Ikspiari. You can find one at the information counter on the 2nd floor and the other one can be found at the information counter on the 1st floor.
Instructions on how to use the phone charging stations
1) Choose a charging station that's not being used and press the arrow button to open it's cover.
2) Set your phone to Do Not Disturb Mode. Make sure that it won't vibrate or ring when you leave it there. Connect your phone to the cable.
3) Insert 100 yen to charge for 20 mins
4) Close the cover
5) Enter a passcode (4 digits)
6) Press the confirm button (The button on the right most column, just below the right arrow) and voila!
When you return to retrieve your phone after 20 mins of charging, just reenter your 4 digits passcode.
There are also charging stations in the Disney Hotels. Just look for this telephone sign in The Miracosta, Ambassador and Tokyo Disneyland Hotel. There, you'll find the source of energy to replenish the life that you tweeted away. The charging stations in the Disney Hotels are priced a little differently. It's 100 yen to charge for 30 minutes.
So, fellow Ratketeers, don't fret if your phone lost it's will to live when you travel to Tokyo Disney Resort. If you're at Tokyo Disneyland, head to Tokyo Disneyland Hotel. If you're at Disneysea, head to The Miracosta. If you're enjoying a hot bowl of ramen in Ippudo Ramen and your phone died while you were trying to make your friends jealous on Facebook, just head to the charging stations in Ikspiari.
Sad to say, there are currently no charging stations in Tokyo Disneyland and Disneysea. You'll have to exit the parks for a short while to give life to your phone. After that, you will be able to count your likes on your Facebook posts again. Welcome to the new world.
