I have a really big problem with motion sickness. Sometimes, I get sick when I'm in the passenger seat of a car. I can't go on Star Tours which kinda sucks because I really wanna experience the new Star Tours. I remember going on Star Tours once and I had to close my eyes for the whole experience. When the ride ended, I was covered in sweat. That's how bad my motion sickness is. I've been on a couple of cruise ships in my past and the same thing happened.
Funny thing about my motion sickness is that it comes and goes. I never get sick for the whole trip. Sometimes I get it, sometimes I don't. It's sorta like my gambling habit. Sometimes I win, sometimes I don't. By the way, I've got The Steelers and The Colts to win Super Bowl 2016. Just wanted to share my addiction with all you Ratketeers out there. I've got a good feeling about my bets. I'm gonna be rich!
I'm so glad that I can now go on a cruise ship whenever I want to, without having to worry about motion sickness. Thank you Tokyo Disneysea! Now, I can dine in a cruise ship without having to worry about disgusting the other passengers by doing the Merlion. All aboard the S.S. Columbia!
As soon as I walked into the S.S. Columbia Dining Room, I felt good. I felt like a celebrity in the 60's on a luxurious cruise ship. This place is classy. The servers were dressed in all white. The table cloth was soft. There were paintings and posters on the walls that created an upscale atmosphere. The lights added a little touch of romance to the whole place. Next time I visit, I'm gonna put on a tuxedo and walk with a cane. I'll ditch my Houston Texans cap for a top hat. Time to go shopping for a Houston Texans top hat with my expected winnings from Super Bowl 2016.
The S.S. Columbia Dining Room serves up everything. You want seafood, they have it. You want meat, they have it. You want pasta, they have it. You want rice, they have it. You want potatoes, they have it. Oh yes and they have a free flow of bread too. They serve up two types of bread here. Hard bread and soft bread. Both of them are really good, but I prefer the soft one. If you would like to save some money on your trip and still enjoy a good dining experience, I recommend heading to the S.S. Columbia, ordering a soup or a salad and pigging out on the free flow of bread. Beautiful dining atmosphere for cheap.
However, if you are willing to part with some coins, do try the entrees. I highly recommend them. Everything on the menu was good. You could close your eyes, point to one of the entrees on the menu and you will be guaranteed quality. The Sirloin Steak was juicy and tender. The Baked Lobster Tail and Sauteed Scallop was to die for. The butter sauce on that dish was just heavenly. Perfect compliment to the seafood. I'm not a big fan of fish, but the Today's Fish was amazing. It was so fresh, you could taste the sea. The Grilled Chicken with Red Wine Vinegar Sauce was my favorite dish in this restaurant. It's skin was crispy and the chicken was so juicy. The sauce compliments the chicken so well. It's like they were made for one another. The chicken was doing a tango with the red wine vinegar sauce and my tongue was the stage. Absolutely brilliant.
