What a day?! I just got back from Tokyo Disneyland and it was freezing cold. I couldn't believe it. It's April! Just last week, it was 20 over degrees celcius and today, it was snowing! Nevertheless, we had fun in Tokyo Disneyland. Dead tired right now, though. So, forgive me for the shorter than usual blog post. Shorter, but I am sure that you can use this information to help you save some money at the parks.
As you can see from the picture above, a cup of Oolong Tea, Green Tea or Jasmine Tea in Tokyo Disney is not cheap. It's 390 yen.
Today, it was pissing cold, so we decided to get a bowl of hot ramen in China Voyager to warm ourselves up.
We got the Voyager Set which came with a choice of beverage and chose Jasmine Tea as our drink. Thankfully, we also got to seat indoors. Indoor seating is limited at China Voyager, so plan accordingly. We got lucky this time.
While we were eating, little Mahina and Baby Haku fell asleep. So, we decided to chill out in China Voyager until the kids wake from their slumber. 1 and a half hours went by and the kids were still in deep sleep. This is quite unusual for them. The cold must have knocked them out.
At this point, I wanted to go buy another cup of tea when Wife-chan stopped me. She called a cast member over and asked for hot water. In less than a minute, the cast member came over with a new cup of hot water. We reused the tea bag and got another cup of tea, for free. Voila, 390 yen saved.
I know what I'm gonna do the next time I head to Tokyo Disney. I'll just get a cup of tea and immediately ask for cups of hot water. I'll ask for additional cups of hot water, brew me some hot tea and sell them for 100 yen a pop. Booyah! Money making in The Happiest Place on Earth. Ok, I'm dead tired and I need to go to bed. Goodnight world!
