This trip to Tokyo Disney Resort was special. This was going to be the first time to Disney for Baby Haku. My family flew in from Singapore to join us for part of this trip. The itinerary was to check into Tokyo Disneyland Hotel - Tinker Bell Room, head to Tokyo Disneyland the next day, check into the Ambassador Hotel and meet my family from Singapore in Tokyo Disneysea. I was excited. My little boy will be visiting Tokyo Disney for the first time. He will meet his paternal, Singaporean family for the first time. It will also be the first time for any of us to stay in the Tinker Bell Room at Tokyo Disney Resort. A lot of first times for this trip.
As we alighted from the Tokyo Disney Resort Line monorail at Tokyo Disneyland Station, I could feel a rush of emotions hit me. I'm doing for my son what my father did for me. I'm taking my son to the most Magical Place on Earth. As we walked towards Tokyo Disneyland Hotel, I was all smiles. The magic of Disney was in full effect for Baby Haku's first trip.
Tinker Bell Room is big. Not quite as big as the Corner Room, but it could fit 7 people. It will feel a little like a clown car and taking a bath or using the toilet could be a pain as there is only one of each, but with enough planning, you could work it out. If you do, please tell me about your experience.
There are two huge beds, a pull-out bed and another bed fitted into the wall of the room. 4 beds! If you are traveling in a group of 4, each of you will get a bed! Now, that's something. I suggest fighting it out. Mayweather, Pacquiao style. Losers get the pull-out bed and the additional bed in the wall.
Wait, don't fight. Come on guys, this is Disney. Fighting is pointless. Draw straws. That's a better way to deal with this situation. Just like the Mayweather, Pacquiao fight, I can assure you that there will not be any losers in this situation. Everyone will walk away happy. At the end of the day, everyone will be smiling from ear to ear, thinking about how much money, ummmm sorry, how much fun they had at Tokyo Disney. Smiling all the way to the bank, dammit Hayatt, focus! I meant to say, smiling while you sleep because all 4 beds are super comfy.
As you can see from the pictures, the room is very well themed. Leaves are painted on the walls. The lights are made to look like they are flowers. There are pictures on the walls that show Tinker Bell on her adventures. The room is well themed and they still managed to maintain the elegance and class of the room.
Another highlight of this room is the view. After an amazing night's sleep, we sat down together as a family and had breakfast while we looked out the window. It was beautiful.
I used to come to Tokyo Disney Resort many years back, dreaming that one day, I will stay in one of the hotels and walk up to the parks during opening time. The dream has become a reality. After breakfast, I carried Baby Haku while Wife-chan walked hand in hand with Little Mahina. I looked at Wife-chan, we exchanged smiles and walked towards Tokyo Disneyland. Baby Haku was going to experience his first trip to Tokyo Disneyland.
