It's tough finding food that's value for money in Tokyo Disney. Finding good pizza in Tokyo Disney is even more difficult. Forget about Tokyo Disney. It's tough finding good, cheap pizza in Tokyo! So what happens when you crave for a slice of cheesy goodness when traveling to Tokyo Disneyland? Well, you've come to the right place. I will point you to the right direction, Ratketeers. For this blog post, I will review the Bacon & Pineapple Pizza served up at Captain Hook's Galley in Tokyo Disneyland.
A slice of Bacon & Pineapple Pizza costs 410 yen. A set which comes with a drink costs 620 yen. Forget about the set and just go with the slice of pizza. You can save your money on drinks by following a tip from my previous blog post. Click here to read more.
Bacon & Pineapple Pizza is a slice of heaven. Pineapples, small blocks of ham, bacon topped on a crunchy, thin crust with tomato paste and the right amount of melted cheese. This has become one of my go-to snacks when traveling to Tokyo Disneyland. The crust is a delight to bite into. It crackles every every time I bite into it. The sweetness of the pineapple and the saltiness of the ham, bacon and cheese comes together so well that you will want to get another slice once you are done. A well coordinated dance in your mouth. Brilliant!
I highly recommend that you add Bacon & Pineapple Pizza to your list of food to try in Tokyo Disney. 410 yen for a slice of pizza is a little too much, but this is Disney. It's one of the most affordable snacks that you can find in the parks and if you ask me, it's better than a lot of others that are more expensive. Ahem ahem, Gyoza Sausage Bun. This is definitely one of my favorites in the whole resort. Ratketeers, Bon Appetit.
