There are very few places in TDR whereby one can sit down, have a drink and just relax. Often, places are crowded and noisy. Before you know it, a planned, relaxing vacation has transformed itself into a highly stressed agenda. A trip to Disney doesn't have to be that way. It`s important to have a plan when traveling to the House of the Mouse, but it is also important to be flexible, take breaks and just enjoy the company of the people we love. Dreamer's lounge is one of my favorite places to relax and enjoy the company of the people around me.
Dreamer`s Lounge is located in Tokyo Disneyland Hotel which is right across from TDL. It's a great place to go to in the middle of your day to escape from the crowds. You can almost always get a seat here and Dreamer's Lounge has a really relaxing atmosphere. I think that it might be because of the high ceilings and huge windows. The seats are really comfortable too.
Dreamer's Lounge is perfect for afternoon tea. They have wide selection of tea and a selection of the usual suspects to go along with your tea like cakes and scones. We ordered the Dreamer's Lounge Sandwich Set (Roast Beef with Horseradish Sauce on Pain de Campagne) and the Disney`s Easter Afternoon Tea Set. Dreamer's Lounge also serves up soups, pasta, alcoholic beverages and light meals.
The food here was really good. I really enjoyed the Roast Beef sandwich and the Afternoon Tea Set. The only issue I have with this place is the price vs portion. I felt that it was a little bit on the pricey side. Does it provide value then? Well, it depends on how we look at value. For me, it did. We spent over an hour here just chatting, enjoying the atmosphere and our conversation. If you're looking to just eat and go on with your agenda, Dreamer's Lounge might not be the best choice for you. But, if you`re looking to relax, enjoy one another's company while nibbling on good food and sipping on good tea, Dreamer's Lounge is the perfect place.
If you`re ever looking for a spot to add into your TDR itinerary to escape from the hustle and bustle of the parks, Dreamer's Lounge might be the place for you. A little pricey when you consider the portions, but if you soak it all in and allow the food to be a sideshow to the main reason for traveling with the ones we love, Dreamer`s Lounge is just perfect. A great place to sit back, enjoy the company of your loved ones and make memories.
I recommend Dreamer's Lounge to anyone who wants to escape from the crowds of TDL. It might be a little far from TDS, but it is a perfect place to escape from TDL's crowd. I wouldn't recommend heading to Dreamer's Lounge for a quick meal, but it provides great value if you just allow yourself to soak up the atmosphere and the L.O.V.E of the people you're with.
